Every day, from the second half of the last century, from 1956 to be exact, performing with the utmost commitment the gestures of always, fruit of a "savoir-faire" transmitted from generation to generation, from father to son for decades, born the Cognacs of the Maison François Peyrot, originated by passion, effort and perseverance, and also by love for their land and their work. The 25 hectares of vineyards, where the Cognac grapes are harvested, are located in the municipality of Jarnac, in the "Grande Champagne 1er Cru de Cognac", and are cultivated with the utmost respect for the environment, nature and the ecosystem, preferring quality at the expense of quantity. Among the rows, the passion for viticulture is the driving soul of every choice, and even without ever giving up those that are the most modern technologies in the sector, the agronomic practices are adopted in a careful and prudent way, thinking first of all about the flora and fauna, and categorically excluding the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers. From the vineyard to the winery, the step is short, and every day everything that sooner or later will be bottled under the name of "François Peyrot", is carefully checked, "created and raised" as if he were a son. Immersed in the shadows and humidity, the essence of wood impregnated with evaporated alcohol seems almost to be the "scent of angels": this is how the mystery is fulfilled, with the birth of unique and inimitable Cognac, whose perfumes are mastered by the infallible ability of the "maitre de chai", master cellist. Not only that: next to Cognac, the Maison François Peyrot also produces fruit flavored liqueurs, Pineau de Charentes, Punchy and Cocktail, and then wines and fruit in spirit with Cognac.
