Wine description
Petra’s Querciegobbe is produced exclusively with Merlot grapes harvested in October. It ferments in vats at a controlled temperature, then ages in truncated-cone vats for 18 months and rests for a further 10 months in the bottle before being marketed.
Characteristics of this Tuscan wine
Dark ruby red color. The bouquet focuses on black cherry and black currant with a vein of Mediterranean scrub on the finish. The palate is pleasantly structured, fresh and of great persistence
