This Inferno Valtellina Superiore DOCG is made by Chiavennasca – nebbiolo grapes by the Nino Negri winery. The vineyards are located in Sopragironi and Sottogironi in the Poggiridenti area and they are cultivated with the Guyot method with a density of 3500 trees per hectare. The soil is made of terraces, is sandy and located at 400-450 meters above the sea level. The profit is 60 quintals per year. There is a manual grape harvest at the end of October and it follows a maceration of 8 days with a previous resting period in steel and lately 24 months in oak barrels. It follows the bottling.
Characteristics of the red wine Inferno Carlo Negri Valtellina Superiore DOCG
It has a bright ruby red color. The smell is remarkable, bitter with gloves, cinnamon and withered flowers aromas such as the rose and the violet. The taste is soft, round and with a great personality. This wine can become harmonic and elegant.

It is perfect with red meats, lamb and little goat. It is also very good with game and aged cheeses. It must be served at 18°C in Ballon wine glass.
