“Burdese” means in the local dialect “from Bordeaux”, and it recalls the typical blend of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. It is a structured and balanced red, coming from selected vineyards and produced with limited quantities. Burdese is a wine with a great longevity. 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Cabernet Franc. The soft pressing is followed by 21 days maceration on skins. After the malolactic fermentation, managed both in inox and in wood, starts the aging in new barriques made of Allier oak. It lasts 14 months.

Powerful red colour. Its perfume expresses mature red fruits. The taste is rich and recalls blueberry, dark cherries, leather, cherry, cocoa, iodine and rosemary.

Bold and energic red wine. It could be drunk alone or with structured dishes, like stewed meat and game. The vegetarian alternative could condider grilled radicchio with aged cheese or caramelized onions. You can drink it immediately or age it 10-12 years. It has to be served at 16°C.
